Summer and Senior Portrait Time!

August begins the school year for many HS Seniors and the list of things to be done from touring colleges, studying for SATs, beginning fall sports and of course Senior Portraits!

This summer I met J upstate at her family's property to do some of her senior portraits

Her dad drove us around the property stopping at some of her favorite spots to take photos.  This spot reminded me of the hills in "Sound of Music"

I couldn't convince her to dance and jump like Julie Andrews but we did get some images in the buttercups

and with the hay bales.

We then drove down to a little pond and J's dad let her wear his hat for a few images

On the way out we crossed some railroad tracks so we stopped for a couple of images there.

A few days later J came to the studio for more formal portrait images

and her mom wanted a serious image like I had photographed of her son  the year before but J is so happy and smiley

it took a while to get us all to be serious
