Alicia and Abel's Wedding

On Sunday 10.10.10 I photographed one of my best friend's daughter's wedding.  I also asked a fellow photographer and friend Matt Palma of Matt Palma Photography to help with the wedding so I could be a guest as well.
Alicia got ready at her parent's home with her maid of honor and a friend helping her get ready.

 Ashley the maid of honor used her Block Island ring to secure the buttons on the back of Alicia's dress

Alicia was escorted down the aisle in a full church with standing room only by her father

to Abel

after a beautiful ceremony

with the same ring fumble her mom and dad made 24 years earlier in the exact same church

 it was time for them to walk down the aisle as Mr. and Mrs.

They were joined by their guests outside for congratulations

and we started their family photos

and the bride and groom headed off in their car for the day to other spots for photos

 some with family

some with the bridal party

and some just the couple together
