Keith and Diandra's Catlin Gardens Wedding in Slate Hill, NY

On Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing Diandra and

Keith's

wedding at Catlin Gardens under the tented area.

I'm not a lip reader but I'm pretty sure his first words to her were "You look .....(HOT, AWESOME OR AMAZING)"

After their officiant, Rev Naomi Fay sang a few verses of a song to them they exchanged vows.

and their first kiss

After cocktail hour and family portraits we took a quick walk in the gardens to capture some images of Keith and Diandra alone.

Well almost alone, Diandra loves frogs and it is one of the reason's she picked Catlin Gardens and to oblige a big Bull Frog sat patiently by croaking as we took some image by the Lilly pond.

Soon it was time for them to be announced for their first dance as husband and wife

Followed by an emotional toast from the maid of honor

Then it was the best men's turn.  Two of Keith's brothers and as brothers do they razzed him

into laughter,

embarrassment,

and tears.

All too soon the night ended with Keith and Diandra's last dance surrounded by friends and family

Another awesome wedding executed perfectly by James and Jamie and the staff at Catlin Gardens!

Personal projects - Model Shoot

Every once in awhile I sneak in the time to shoot for myself for a personal project.  Sometimes I come up with my own ideas, which usually involve nature and/or landscaping and other times my free time coincides with HV Click.  HV Click is a group of photographers, models and make up artist that get together once a month centering on a theme.  April's theme was Retro/Future Cyberpunk and the shoot took place at the Old Foundry in Goshen.  It is not often that the shoot is on a day that I am free as well as being so close to home.

Here are a few images from the shoot.  Not my normal blog post but going out and doing something different can always bring more creativity to everyday jobs.
