Goshen Engagement Session

The last Sunday in October I had the pleasure of photographing Amy and Patrick's engagement session in Goshen, NY

We met at Patrick's family farm on Sarah Well's Trail

and there was still plenty of fall color to be found in their beautiful back pastures

We drove around the property for awhile taking photos at the old railroad tracks that run through their property

and a small pond with a bench perfect for reflecting on the day

We then returned closer to the house to the scene of the crime (just kidding), I meant to say the site where Patrick proposed!

We then went into town to get some photos at one of the many beautiful churches in downtown Goshen. I have always admired this red door when driving past and was glad to be able to stop and take photos there.

We also took their newspaper photo which dictated that their eyebrows be on the same level, weird request for a paper photo and it breaks all sorts of portriture rules but I think I found a way around it and they will have a nice image for the paper.

Thanks for choosing me as your wedding photographer. I'm looking forward to your wedding on Block Island next fall! Thanks for the eggs and beef! We have enjoyed them as well!

Heather and Art's Fall Catlin Garden's Wedding

October 18 was the date for Art and Heather's wedding at Catlin Gardens. Heather and Art decided to see each other prior to the wedding. So while Lara put on the Heather's veil

Art waited to see her for the first time. Art stood at the bottom of the staircase, turned so he could not see Heather descend in the mirror

When she was ready she had Art turn to see her

We then went out to the back terrace to take some of the photos but only for a little while as it was only 35 degrees out and everyone wanted to get back inside!

Soon it was time for Heather and Art to have their service inside, in the warmth

Immediately following the ceremony Art and Heather did a special Vodka toast in honor of Art's father who has recently passed away

and the children lightened the mood by mentioning that they did not have any toast glasses!

The night continued with many more shots

and lots of singing by friends

and family.
Thanks for sharing your wedding day with me. Have a warm honeymoon!

Larry and Julie's Emerson Resort Spa Wedding

Larry and Julie chose the Emerson Resort and Day Spa as the location for their fall wedding. They also chose The Lodge side of the resort to give a nice rustic, woodsy feel to their wedding.

Larry had sweetly sent flowers to all the ladies prior to the wedding.

Once the ladies were ready we headed outside to capture some of the beautiful fall color

and then I went over to capture some images of Larry and his groomsmen.

After a 20 min late start while the guests assembled it was time for Julie to walk down the aisle escorted by her mom

to read her vows to Larry in the wood pavilion in the shadow of a mountainside starting to show fall colors as twilight started.

Following the ceremony we took some twilight photos outdoors

while the guests gathered around watching a slideshow put together by the groom's mother

After a beautiful first dance and a congratulatory toast by the best man

it was time for Dinner in the pavilion
